Duncan munn

Duncan Munn is Founder and Executive Chair of Elevate Export Finance Corp, and Elevate Global Insurance. He is an experienced senior executive and governance expert with a background in financial services, public policy and regulatory matters. Duncan is President of the C.D. Howe Institute, Canada’s most influential economic think tank, is an instigator of its Financial Services Research Program, amongst other programs, and is past Chair of Alterna Savings, an OSFI and FRSA regulated financial institution. He has served on numerous boards in both the for profit and non-for-profit sector and is an early stage investor and mentor to a number young companies.

Dan Bedard

Dan launched his career in Trade Credit Insurance (TCI) immediately after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from Trent University. He began as an underwriter at Export Development Canada, where within five years he was managing some of the most complex risks in the organization’s portfolio.

Following eight years in senior policy analysis with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), Dan returned to TCI as a Senior Underwriter at Intact Insurance. He later transitioned to the broker side of the business, where for the past five years he has specialized in helping clients protect and grow their businesses with tailored TCI solutions.

Dan has served on the Board of the Receivables Insurance Association of Canada (RIAC) and is licensed to broker insurance across most Canadian provinces.
